What you should definitely do once: bike along the coast in western Zeeland Flanders. There are miles of wide bike paths along the coast. And the interior is also surprisingly fun to bike. In Zeeland Flanders there are a lot of creeks and waterways, remnants of the Eighty Years’ War, just like the forts. By the waterways, birds fly off and on and the sheeps on the side of the path look at you gingerly. With these cycling routes (approx. 50 or 65 km) along junctions you combine the best of both: the lively coast with beaches and nice coastal towns and the quiet green hinterland with creeks, forts and birds.
The bicycle package you can book as an extra with your room includes:
- Bike route map and brief explanation around the route to be biked (choice of short or long bike route)
